Graze Away offers charcuterie-style breakfast and lunch trays as well as a traditional lunch menu. Check them out inside Arlyn's at 1903 Baytree Rd in Valdosta.

When Graze Away launched in August, owners Kaci Lynn and Crystal Vaughn didn't expect to have such an outpouring of support. Since their small catering business opened, they have experienced an overwhelming number of local businesses who have ordered catering for breakfast, brunch, and lunch as well as residents who have enjoyed their lunch, they offer on location inside Arlyn's Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Kaci Lynn obtained her patisserie degree from Ale Cordon Bleu in 2014 and returned for her culinary degree in 2016. Crystal Vaughn has a business degree from Georgia Military College and is currently enrolled in the August Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

The two women have known each other since high school, but they were not close until after high school and social media grew to be such a popular way of staying connected. They became friends over the years after adding each other, connecting on their love of travel, food, and raising children.

Crystal Vaughn has been in the restaurant business since 2008 and Kaci Lynn has been involved in her home baking business since the birth of her fourth child in 2015.

Graze Away was born after Vaughn approached Lynn about her business idea, asking if she would be interested in doing the desserts for a catering business. Lynn tells us that she and Vaughn came up with the name and business plans in Vaughn's Valdosta kitchen.

While the plan was originally to offer catering only, the duo decided to expand to offering lunch three days a week after they received so much support from Lowndes and the surrounding counties. They're currently located inside Arlyn's at 1903 Baytree Rd in Valdosta, Georgia.

Kaci Lynn says, "We hope to continue to grow into something even bigger and better soon."

In fact, they're already prepping a new location according to their Facebook page only one short month after opening. The new location will offer seating for their guests as well as a small room to host events.

The Graze Away menu is an ever-evolving combination of upscale meals with a downhome twist. Try their Firecracker Salmon Bites, which are Cajun seasoned salmon bites drizzled with Siracha aioli. They even offer a vegan menu consisting of their open-faced burgundy mushroom sandwich and a Mediterranean style salad.

Vaughn said, "I love catering and I love cooking. I travel a lot, so I try to incorporate some of my favorite things from different places I've been into the menu."

Perhaps what the company is most famous for is their charcuterie-style grazing trays and grazing boxes. They offer these trays for catered lunch or breakfast and businesses all over Lowndes County and the surrounding counties have placed their orders.

Graze Away is the place to check out in Valdosta, Georgia whether it's catering for a wedding or a business meeting or just serving up lunch on location inside Arlyn's at 1903 Baytree Rd, just behind Hug in a Mug.

Follow them on social media to see when they move to their new location.
