Dana LaShay has been writing ever since she can remember. She spent the earliest, perhaps darkest, parts of her life holed up in some lost and forgotten corner with a book to read or a notebook to write in. Her characters were her friends. Her worlds–her words–were her escape.

She is a 2021 graduate of Full Sail University where she obtained her BFA in Creative Writing. During her time at Full Sail University, she was a copywriter for the Student Community Association, the President of the Creative Writing Club, and a contributing writer for 3300+, a music club.

 

Over the last decade, Dana LaShay has spent time as the editor-in-chief of a small online publication for the Harry Potter fandom, the managing editor of a startup magazine for millennials, and a writer for Rising Artists Music Blog.
